magnetic (Mag)

Magnetic flow meter (mag flow meter) is a volumetric flow meter which does not have any moving parts and is ideal for clean/dirty liquids, abrasive/corrosive conditions, low pressure and low velocity environments and can measure conductive fluids down to .1uS/cm. Typical applications include:

Vortex flow meters are suitable for measuring steam as well as a variety of liquids and gases.  As fluid moves across a vortex meter shedder bar, vortices form.  The frequency of the vortices shedding is proportional to the fluid velocity.
