data acquisition (daq)

Data acquisition (DAQ) is the measurement, recording, analyzing, and presentation of real-world phenomena. It includes electrical measurements such as voltage, current, power as well as measurements through sensors and transducers including temperature, pressure, flow, level, strain, acceleration, pH, humidity and more.

Selecting the ideal recorders/data loggers depends on your application. Typical factors include sample rates, channel scalability, signal conditioning, sensor types, analysis capability, mobility, and environmental conditions.

Yokogawa recorders/data loggers are recognized for industry leading measurement accuracy, noise tolerance, and build quality. These include most industrial networking protocols, all-in-one architectures, and typically require no programming.

PRODUCTS

data loggERS

For a data logger to monitor, test, and analyze asset health and performance, it records sensor data over long periods of time. Yokogawa data loggers surpass the scalability of standard data loggers by utilizing a proprietary block architecture that enables you to easily and flexibly combine various modules, and add expansion modules for up to 450 ch of input (GX/GP). They offer superior savings on rewiring labor and maintenance because you can add or remove modules even after installation.

SMART 920 - 920 MHz Wireless Data Acquisition

The SMART 920 is a wireless recording solution for the SMARTDAC+ family of recorders and data loggers. With the SMART 920, a GX20, GP20 or a GM10 will become a completely self-contained industrial data acquisition system that supports data collection from both wired and wireless points.

CHART RECORDERS

Strip chart recorders trend electrical or mechanical signals onto paper. Even today, paper records create more permanent records for long term archives or audit. Yokogawa chart recorder offer world-class performance and reliability.
